A nett weigh filler collects and measures a predetermined weight of product before dispensing it to a container. In the system illustrated a primary feed belt supplies the bulk of product required for one container. Fine adjustment to the required weight is provided by small amounts of product from a secondary feed belt. An auger filler can also be used to deliver product to the weigh hopper.
